Somerset® is a traditional printmaking paper which has been used by artists for a range of time-honoured techniques such as intaglio, etching, stone lithography, silkscreen, relief printing and letterpress. The same traditional fine art paper is now available for photographers, printmakers, and artists alike to reproduce digitally their original artwork as a limited edition by using the Somerset® Enhanced digital fine art papers.
A proprietary inkjet receiving layer has been applied to all the papers within the range. This innovative coating produces prints with superb colour reproduction, deep blacks and pure whites offering photographers, artists and printmakers the opportunity to create images with a superb tonal range, excellent highlights and mid-tones
The SOMERSET® Discovery Pack enables photographers and printmakers to test each of the papers and select the weight, surface texture and aesthetic that meets their individual needs.

Somerset® Enhanced Satin White is produced by St Cuthberts Mill, based in England. The mill uses a traditional cylinder mould to manufacture a paper that looks and feels as though it is handmade. St Cuthberts Mill have been making paper since the 1700's, and today manufacturers the Somerset® Enhanced digital fine art range.
Somerset® Enhanced Velvet White is a mould-made, 100% cotton rag digital fine art paper that is available in 330gsm, 255gsm and 225gsm. Produced at St Cuthberts Mill in England, the artisan papermakers use a traditional cylinder mould to create the look and feel of a handmade paper. St Cuthberts Mill have been making paper since the 1700's, and today manufacturers the Somerset® Enhanced digital fine art range.
Produced by the artisan papermakers at St Cuthberts Mill in England, Somerset® Enhanced Watercolour White has a traditional watercolour ‘cold pressed’ surface finish. The 100% cotton mould made paper, has a natural white base, produced without the use of optical brighteners. The paper has a soft, refined feel to the touch and the textured surface offers printmakers, artists, and photographers a painterly feel to the final print.
