ARCHES® 

ARCHES master papermakers have been producing very high-quality fine art papers since 1492, and today ARCHES is the only paper mill in France using a traditional cylinder mould process for all its papers.

 The ARCHES mill uses pure mineral water, an essential requirement for high quality paper. Such pure water is plentiful in the Vosges area and is drawn from the groundwater under the Mill. 
ARCHES manufactures the well-known and first choice watercolour paper for artists : ARCHES® Aquarelle which is now available for photographers, printmakers, and artists alike to reproduce digitally their original artwork.

ST CUTHBERTS MILL

Situated in the ancient Cathedral City of Wells in the southwest of England, St Cuthberts Mill has been making paper since the 1700's, taking advantage of the pure waters of the River Axe. 
St Cuthberts Mill manufactures high quality artists papers and the experienced papermakers produce professional mould made papers, using one of the few remaining cylinder mould machines left in the world. 


St Cuthberts Mill manufactures Somerset®, a world leading traditional printmaking paper which is now available  for photographers, printmakers, and artists alike to reproduce digitally their original artwork.

CANSON®

Canson®’s papermaking history dates back centuries to the Montgolfier family, and name associated with the first ever hot air balloon. Since 1557, the papermakers at Canson
have been producing high quality papers and now the brand is renowned in the fine art world. Canson® offers a diverse range of papers covering a broad spectrum of art techniques. 

Today, photographers, printmakers and artists are able to create limited or open edition artwork on a range of museum grade fine art papers. The papers are produced by Canson®’s expert papermakers on a fourdrinier machine at the Mill based in Annonay, France.
