Robert Rodriguez Jr

Robert Rodriguez Jr is a landscape photographer, fine art printer, and educator based in the Hudson Valley, New York. His work is driven by a desire to convey not just what a scene looks like, but what it feels like, translating presence, atmosphere, and emotion into finished prints.
A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Robert spent 15 years as a music producer before transitioning to photography, bringing with him a composer’s instinct for rhythm, tension, and emotional arc. He later took on watercolor painting, proving to himself (and his students) that visual skills are learnable at any stage of life.
Robert is the founder of Creative Path Academy, an online membership community where photographers develop their artistic vision through live sessions, coaching, and hands-on learning. A core pillar of the Academy is its Print Lab : dedicated sessions where members develop their fine art printing skills, from color management and ICC profiles to paper selection and the aesthetics of matching paper to image. Robert is passionate about helping photographers experience the transformative moment of seeing their work come alive on paper.
He regularly presents webinars for Canson® Infinity on printing workflow, paper selection aesthetics, and the craft of fine art printmaking.
His photography has appeared in the New York Times and is featured extensively by Scenic Hudson. He is the author of two books: Digital Fine Art Printing Field Guide for Photographers and Insights from the Creative Path.
