Somerset® Enhanced Watercolour Rag
240gsm - Matte
Produced by the artisan papermakers at St Cuthberts Mill in England, Somerset® Enhanced Watercolour White has a traditional watercolour ‘cold pressed’ surface finish. The 100% cotton mould made paper, has a natural white base, produced without the use of optical brighteners. The paper has a soft, refined feel to the touch and the textured surface offers printmakers, artists, and photographers a painterly feel to the final print.
The proprietary inkjet coating guarantees superb image quality and longevity, which is essential for both limited and open edition digital fine art prints.
The Somerset® Enhanced Watercolour White 240gsm is available in sheets from A4 to A2 and 12 metre length rolls.
Somerset® is a traditional printmaking paper which has been used by artists for a range of time-honoured techniques such as intaglio, etching, stone lithography, silkscreen, relief printing and letterpress. The same traditional fine art paper is now available for photographers, printmakers, and artists alike to reproduce digitally their original artwork as a limited edition by using the Somerset® Enhanced digital fine art papers
