Canson Infinity papers can of course be used with all inkjet printers. Canson Infinity papers and canvas are however optimized for inkjet printers dedicated to Digital Fine Art & Photo that use pigmented inks. Pigmented inks are known to be more light-resistant and to last significantly longer than dye inks.

Also, depending on the printer, the paper is sometimes fed into and out of the printer at the front. This implies than the paper has to go around a roller within a very small distance.

The weight of the paper as well as the firmness of the media will determine whether or not the paper can go through your printer. Therefore paper more than 230 gsm cannot cope with this kind of printing. Generally, papers that are more than approximately 250gsm cannot go through a desktop printer.
