- A new brand signature: "CANSON, Inspirational Papers since 1557"
- The launch of the Canson Fund for Art and Paper to strengthen our ties with the artists we serve, promote the influence and recognition of young talents by supporting high-quality artistic and cultural events.
- The Canson Prize, awarded by a jury of key figures in the world of art and culture, headed by the French artist Gérard Garouste.
- The launch of 2 new websites serving the arts community:
- La tribu des Artistes, a community site : www.latribudesartistes.com
- L'Atelier Canson, a content site : www.lateliercanson.com
- A new far-reaching partnership with the department of graphical arts and internet development of the LOUVRE Museum:
CANSON and the Louvre will be collaborating on the "Today's Focus" section of the Louvre.fr website, which CANSON® will sponsor starting in April 2010.
In addition, the Louvre will be presenting an exhibit on "Paper and Artists" in 2011 in its Salle de la Chapelle, with one section devoted to the famous papers developed by Canson for major artists.
